The first quarter, amid the COVID-19 virus outbreak, ends on a positive note. Nanovac has received a number of custom thermal vacuum system orders in the past few months, and look forward on supplying our vacuum solutions to demanding applications around the world. Most recently we received an order today for the manufacturing of a custom thermal vacuum system solution.
We´re grateful for the continued support from our customers and partners. Our solutions enables innovation.
Nanovac will exhibit at the Space Simulation Conference 2020 in Annapolis. The 31st Space Simulation Conference will be held October 26-29, 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel located in Annapolis, Maryland. There will be three days of technical sessions preceded by one day of tutorials on environmental testing techniques. The conference is a major international forum in space hardware environmental testing for research and development and qualification. It provides a unique opportunity for engineers and scientists from industry, government, and academia to present and exchange information and ideas on simulating the space environment to develop and test space mission hardware. The theme for the 31st Conference will be “60 Years and Counting: Providing Excellence in Space Environmental Testing”
We look forward on seeing you there!
Due to the COVID 19 outbreak, the forthcoming Space Tech Expo show in Long Beach, CA has been postponed. As soon as we have more details on the new show dates we will update accordingly.
Stay safe folks!

Nanovac will as usual be exhibiting at the Space Tech Expo in Long Beach, May 18-20. Come visit us in our booth (5041) to discuss Your vacuum test requirements. We will also be showcasing a small test chamber this year.
Nanovac will be exhibiting at the Finnish Satellite Workshop 2020 in Espoo – come visit us and learn more about our solutions.
Nanovac will be exhibiting at the Space Tech Expo in Europe (Bremen) between November 19 and November 21. Come talk to us at our Booth (F60) about your vacuum system requirements.
We have built several custom pump packages historically, and now decided to release a standard compact high vacuum pumping station. This station delivers 80 l/s pumping speed, with a base pressure in the low -6 range. The unit is self contained, and completely dry. Innovative control architecture allows for advanced remote monitoring and control.
2019 has been extremely busy so far. We have been chosen as the supplier for several new demanding thermal vacuum test projects, including a very special “dirty” thermal vacuum chamber which will be used to simulate the environment on asteroids. In response to the increased number of projects we are increasing our manufacturing capacity, which will help to minimize manufacturing times. Our current standard lead times are currently 20-24 weeks.
Per aspera ad astra (or, less commonly, ad astra per aspera) is a popular Latin phrase meaning “through hardship to the stars”. This is such a telling phrase, especially considering the work that our customers do, challenging the elements and harsh environment of space, to enable exploration and human advancement. We are honoured and humbled to be asked to supply the technology for them to test their ideas and designs before they are sent into space, ensuring mission success.
